What HG Construction wanted
HG Constructions primary goals with the Dace Road site, were to develop 144 high quality, modern, sustainable residential apartments which included affordable, shared ownership and private units combined with ground floor commercial space.
Solution
We installed a 103.95kWp rooftop solar system across four blocks on the Dace Road site in London, enabling them to provide purchasers with 50% of their energy needs with solar power.
Financial Benefits
Dace Road residents have saved an estimated £52,156 in energy costs since the installation in 2020 and over the estimated lifetime of the system, they are projected to save £329,965.
Environmental Benefits
The installation reduced the Dace Road carbon footprint by 21.5 tonnes of CO2 annually, equivalent to planting 4,025 trees over the system lifetime, delivering an immediate positive environmental impact.
